Clackmannanshire Council and Police Scotland explain benefits of workplace co-location

For quite some time, public sector organisations across Scotland have been working together, undertaking a programme of improvement with the aim of delivering better quality public services.

For many organisations, this ‘one public sector’ approach focuses on how their land, buildings and offices can be used differently to deliver better joined-up services to local communities, generate financial savings, and reduce carbon emissions.

Clackmannanshire Council and Police Scotland are two organisations that have embraced the one public sector approach where today Police officers and Council staff work side by side in the same building in Alloa with the public benefitting from better, joined-up services.

Our Asset Strategy team has provided strategic support to this co-location project, and you can hear more about it from those involved in this short video.
